Thank you kindly, Edified Listener. For the first few years of my marriage, I was unable to have children and thought I might never know the joys. In between my third and fourth son, I had a miscarriage and was devastated (thinking it might be a daughter).
Nevertheless, I am so wonderfully blessed and grateful for each one of them. To be honest, I treasured the last one even more and prayed daily that he would make it to full term. I feel richly blessed to have them all.
